High Science® is gearing up to offer a detailed exploration of the cannabis industry, with its premiere scheduled for fall of 2024.
Airing on High Sciences® TV Channel, Outlaw TV, and Bravo International’s TVee Now, the show will follow Rich and Rick Batenburg, a father-son venture capital team, as they invest in cannabis businesses across the U.S., The Entertainer Magazine reported.
The TV series promises to provide a comprehensive look at the industry’s diverse aspects, from cultivation to retail and aims to highlight the evolving landscape of cannabis investment. The series documents the Batenburgs as they visit various businesses, including farms, retail shops and cultivation sites.
David McKillop, an Emmy® Award-winning producer known for shows like Duck Dynasty, Storage Wars and Pawn Stars co-created the series with Ed Leclere, an entrepreneurs based in Scottsdale. McKillop highlights the focus on personal stories. Ed Leclere and David McKillop both state that “the Batenburgs are great hosts taking us on a journey of the cannabis experience”.
David McKillop’s latest project, High Science®, features some interesting characters such as Moe Asnani and Chip Boyden, founders of Ilava, an established Arizona D2 dispensary, and a grow house. Another segment will focus on Greg Krzanowski, known as “Chem Dog,” who is recognized for his expertise in cannabis strains.
The show will also cover the work of Brendan and Kevin McKernan of Medicinal Genomics, who have transitioned from the Human Genome Project to studying cannabis strains for medical use. Additionally, Meg Sanders and Erik Williams of Canna Provisions will be featured, highlighting their contributions to the cannabis retail sector. John Piasecki from Wiseacre Farms shows us his outdoor grow and his experience in the industry with this incredible plant.
