BIOGRAPHY
Eva Erickson has been a student of the plant world since she was an adolescent, this fascination grew when she traveled to Colombia in 2010 and worked with the Amazon Conservation Team as a fieldwork intern in the Amazon Jungle. It was there that she witnessed firsthand the healing properties of plants used by local healers to treat malaria, sepsis, hormonal imbalances, and mental illness. An appreciation for plant medicine and the natural worlds healing capacity became deeply embedded in her life-purpose.
In 2015, Eva left her job working as a Case Manager and Mediator at Mediated Negotiations in San Francisco to pursue cannabis full-time in the California medical market. Together with her business partner she founded Radio Ridge Nursery, purveyor of small batch, breeder select genetics throughout the state of California, their monthly clone capacity reached 10,000 clones per month by 2018. In partnering directly with breeders, Radio Ridge Nursery piloted unique and diverse cultivars to the greater cannabis community, while also paying royalties (and homage) to the original creators of these special genetics.
In 2019 Eva co-founded and managed the development of Wallflower Nursery, a wholesale, licensed one-acre entity, that at max capacity was able to produce 1.2 million clones a year.
In Fall of 2022 together with Sjoerd Broeks, Eva and team moved their operation to expand to 2 acres and develop an all-encompassing genetic program for their nursery. Haze Valley Nursery is in Corralitos, California, the birthplace and origin-story of the original Haze cultivar. Their team strives to produce the healthiest and most vigorous clones on the California market whilst maintaining the quality attained during their small-batch days as Radio Ridge Nursery. Annually Haze Valley Nursery runs greenhouse and outdoor R&D field trials with new genetics bred, grown, and selected in-house to offer to the U.S market. The Haze team is developing an IP and royalty protection program for breeders looking to offer their work to licensed farm.
